AVOID LEYOUNG AUTO GROUP
Leyoung Auto Group are located in Welshpool Western Australia. It is by far the worst car dealership I have dealt with, ever.
In
early April 2019, I started out by looking for a car in the $2000 price
range as that would get me something around the 10 year old mark. I
seen a seemingly nice looking 2008 Holden Viva that was advertised on
Gumtree as ‘Working Great’
- Car stalled exiting freeway at traffic lights
- Car engine started smoking
- Forced to call into train station car park to inspect vehicle
- Waited 1 hour for engine to cool and stop smoking so I could clean up the spattered oil
Upon
inspection, the culprit of the near fire was found; oil cap had come
off completely and luckily was still in the engine bay as a second hand
one is around the $40 mark.
This was an unfortunate sign of things to come...every...single...day!
Here is a list of things that I found to be wrong and UNDISCLOSED to me at the time of the sale:
- Stalls on every single trip (averaging 3 per day)
- Cruise control not present, as it was advertised on gumtree ad
- Non-functional button to open boot, at the drivers console
- Broken left side mirror
- Non functioning auxiliary audio input on the radio unit
- Hood does not open without a struggle
- Windscreen wipers fluid does not work
- Reverse gets stuck
- Oil cap came off on first drive home, almost causing a fire
- Front silver badging fell off when I arrived home on first day
My advice to anyone looking to by from Leyoung Auto Group is to AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE BLACK DEATH.
Read the reviews on Google maps, I didn't notice until it was too late;
- All the comments complaining about Leyoung Auto Group have a long comment history
- All the comments giving 5 stars or so have zero to one or two reviews, so probably by the employees forced from the bosses

Breakdowns
2019.04.05 Car stalled while exiting Northbridge tunnel, smoke coming from engine. Oil cap had come off and covered the engine in oil. I had to wait for an hour to clean up. Front badges came off whiled stoped, held on with sticky tape. NEAR MISS COLLISION FROM REAR
2019.04.06 On way home, car stalled after exiting freeway and turning onto road.
2019.04.07 No stalling, WTF?
2019.04.08 Car stalled 2 times, in take away drive through and lights nearby
2019.04.09 Stalled at lights, Bibra Lake. NEAR MISS COLLISION FROM REAR
2019.04.10 No stalling, WTF?
2019.04.11 Stalled 3 times all while reversing into carbay.
2019.04.12 No driving today
2019.04.13 No driving today
2019.04.14 Car stalled 2 times, both at local shops
2019.04.15 Stalled at lights before freeway entry
